Tiffani T. Vinson
First Lady of Faith Memorial MBC
Tiffani T. Vinson is the 1st Lady of Faith Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, a humble servant of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She serves faithfully alongside her husband, Pastor Robert A. Vinson, Jr. in the ministry with a Spirit of Excellence, providing unconditional love & support. They were married in holy matrimony in 1997 and have been blessed to celebrate 25 years of marriage. Through this union, they were also blessed with two beautiful children Teniyah J. Vinson & Robert A. Vinson III. Lady Vinson is the epitome of a “Virtuous Woman”, and she is one who has a genuine love for God, her family and work of the Ministry at large.
Lady Vinson is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and is the daughter of RC Swain & Annie M. Sheeley-Richardson. Her life journey has shaped, molded & equipped her into the woman of God she is today. Matthew 5:16 -Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven…is a true reflection of her life as she strives to be an example of biblical principles and follow the teachings of Christ.
Growing up in the church and in a household that loved the Lord….she accepted Christ as her Lord & Savior at a young age. Consequently, God began revealing his divine plan for her life and preparing her for ministry early in life; and as a product of the Pinellas County School System, part of this narrative of her lifelong mission unfolded during her middle school years where she 1st met the love of her life, Robert A. Vinson, Jr. Unknowingly at the time, this was the beginning of a lifetime together that would inevitably lead them to being husband & wife. Destined to be together…as high-school sweethearts, they both attended the same almamater in which they were crowned Senior Homecoming King & Queen and received their high school diplomas as proud graduates of Boca Ciega High School.
Educationally, Lady Vinson furthered her education and received her bachelor’s degree in Child Life & Elementary Education from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, to include certification from Florida Agriculture & Mechanical University in which she was dual-enrolled. She continued to pursue her educational career by receiving a master’s degree in Math & Science/Elementary from the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg Campus.
With over 25 years of experience within the Pinellas County School System, she continues to enjoy the art of teaching & learning and has a passion for working with children and youth. Lady Vinson currently holds the position of a Science Coach/Staff Developer. She considers it an absolute blessing that her calling as an educator has allowed her to touch the lives of many throughout the years, and simply providing a broad platform for her to utilize her gifts & talents, minister & let her light shine for Christ. She truly understands the effect her influence has over students…their hearts & minds, their families & their future; thus she is grateful to say the least, and thankful that God has entrusted her with the divine opportunity to teach, lead and make lasting impressions….all to the glory of God!
As a disciple of Christ…she also serves in several different capacities within the church where her commitment to excellence thrives to include: the Christian Education Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Children & Youth Ministry, Education Ministry, Deaconess Ministry, and Beautification/Decoration Ministry. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, her leadership has been a blessing to the church while exemplifying what it means to follow Christ as a child of God and woman of faith.
She wholeheartedly believes that ministry is all about glorifying God & expanding His Kingdom and because of that mindset, the fruit of her labor has not been in vain, for children have come to Christ, women have affirmed who they are as Daughters of the King and overall the ministries she’s impacted have flourished, strengthened & grown not just physically, but most importantly in God’s word. While Lady Vinson’s desire and passion for serving & pleasing God serves as a beacon of light within the church & community as well, she continues to strive to be more like Christ, seek God in prayer and allow the Holy Spirit to be her guide. Encouraging others to do the same and reminding them of Colossians 3:23- whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto me…. is a true testament of her character; and ultimately the relationships established have motivated others to embrace their purpose, discover their God-given potential, and trust & believe that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13).
